Brooklyn 99

Every Brooklyn 99 Christmas episode was EPIC.

“Christmas” (S01E11), the one where Boyle takes two bullets for Rosa and “Captain Latvia” (S04E10), when Jake and Charles bond over the fact that Boyle’s a great father . However, “Yippie Kayak” (S03E10) is especially hilarious and touching. The madness of Jake’s dream “the real life Die Hard” moment comes true.

Well, it is a Christmas is not complete without delightful feelings overwhelming you. Trust me, so will this episode.

FRIENDS Christmas Moments

One of the many reasons to watch FRIENDS – beautiful Christmas celebrations. Perhaps it will not be wrong to say that watching FRIENDS on Christmas and singing Pheobe’s iconic FRIENDS anthem on Christmas is as much of a tradition as eating desserts.

For an amusing Christmas, watching episodes with the one with Holiday Armadillo or The Routine are perfect option. Whereas, to watch a breakthrough of characters and feel a sigh of relief you can catch up with episodes like “The One With Christmas In Tulsa” (Season 9) or “The One Where Rachel Quits” (Season 3).

Home Alone – A Classic Christmas Dip

Tbh, you will end up watching the whole movie for sure. So, just go for it after all, Home Alone is a classic Christmas movie loved by everyone.

This particular one is for kids or adults? Well, the iconic scenes of Home Alone are enjoyed by everyone, including kids, youths, and all. Remember the booby trap sequence-?- way too hilarious! From falling stairs, slipping on toy cars, iron banging into heads, and whatnot. The booby traps are the absolute balance between comedy and deprave. This scene, or you can say the entire movie, can be watched over and over again.

PS: Seriously, the kid is an absolute mastermind, and his brilliance demand respect.

It’s a Wonderful Life

The 40s classic, It’s a Wonderful Life has to be the everlasting Christmas favorite, in the ode to the life-affirming message the film conveys. A hopelessly depressed man George Bailey who thinks his family is better off without him, receives a message from an angel named Clarence on Christmas night, saying, “Remember no man is a failure who has friends”- this gives a ray of hope to George. The scene becomes more emotional when he holds his daughter, telling his desolate dad, “Daddy, the teacher says every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings.” It’s a heart-touching scene. Life will seem indeed wonderful to you after watching this affirmatory scene that expresses the struggle of a recklessly in-debt person, who later overcomes all the difficulties and qualifies the test of life.

How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM)

There are very few friends who stay through your thick and thin. “Symphony Of Illumination” (S07E12) is a proof of that (and of course, beautiful writing).

Ted is a shining example of that. This Christmas scene stands out of all as to how Ted decorates his apartment for Robin to cheer her up after she learns she can’t have children. It’s a heart-wrenching moment where Robin finds out the news, which makes her sad and broken.

Ted noticed that Robin wasn’t doing well, so he asked her what was wrong. Robin didn’t answer him, but she left the room with tears in her eyes.

“You don’t want to tell me what’s wrong?, fine. I don’t need it to know, but you can never stop me from trying to cheer you up”. Said Ted to Robin when she got back. That’s Ted for Robin, who can never see her distressed.

The room full of gleaming lights, synced with a piece of soothing music, followed by the flashing light show that reads Merry Christmas Robin, will truly make you smile and cry at the same time.
